Preschooler Group:3-6 years old preschoolers.
Elementary Group A: Grade 1-3.
Elementary Group B: Grade 4-6.
Middle school Group: Grade 7-9.
High School Group: Grade 10-12.
Participation Conditions
English learners aged 3-18 who are registered in local government education bureau or with official registration information in Asia-Pacific region are welcome to apply.

Entry Requirements
Theme: Think big, Think different
1.Record a 60s-120s individual video with a clean background, like white wall.
2.Present English skills without the draft confidently.
3.The video file should be MP4 within 500Mb;the resolution should be not less than 720*1080.
4.Submit the entry to the registration system.
Results and Announcement
Participants' audition results will be announced on the official official account of IVY EVENTS at that time. You can follow the official account "常春藤IVY EVENTS" for self inquiry. Participants with a global audition result of 6.0 points or more will be eligible for semi final elections in the registered region.
Scoring Criteria
The entire event adopts a maximum score of 10 points.The judges are the professors / teachers of the universities from Harvard University, Princeton University, University of Pennsylvania, Yale University, Columbia University, Stanford University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Brown University or local authorized academic institutions.
Participating Venue
The City/Region Semi-Finals will open online and offline Venue, and only one region needs to be selected to participate. The specific time and place shall be subject to the official account notice. The online and offline processes and standards are consistent, and the evaluation work is carried out by professional reviewers. The coordination is carried out by the organizing committee staff, and the activities are conducted in accordance with the principle of fairness.
Standard Process
Part Ⅰ:Surprise Me!-Talent Show(2 mins Solo)
The Surprise Me Talent Show could be any forms, such as speech, singing, dubbing and drama or more. The costumes and any props involved in the performance should be prepared by the participants, as well as the USB devices for the accompaniment music. The participants will be asked some questions by the foreign judge after the show according to the performance and the relevant guidelines provided. The partcipants must present their English skills in Part I, which will be scored on language skills and the performance.

Part Ⅱ:Convince Me!
The content examined by each group is inconsistent. Please refer to the detailed explanation of each group below.
*Preschooler Group -Situational Dialogue
The participants should answer the questions asked by the judge according to the pictures. Convince the judges by answering the questions in a full sentence with the key points related to the pictures logically.
*Elementary Group A -Spelling Challenge
The participants from Elementary Group A need to answer 3 questions and spell 3 words read by the judges. The beginning letter will be given, and the judge will ring the bell if the participants spell the word incorrectly. The participant will move on to the next word until finishing 3 words.
*Elementary Group B -Spelling and Sentence Making
The participants from Elementary Group B need to spell 2 words and make sentences after the spelling. The words will be read by the judges, and the beginning letter will be given. The judge will ring the bell if the participants spell the word incorrectly. The correct word will be given and the participant need to make a sentence with it. After making a sentence with the word, the participant will move on to the next word until finishing spelling 2 words and making a sentence with each one.
*Middle School Group-Spelling and Impromptu Speech
The participants need to spell the word according to the English explanation and the beginning letter of the word will be given by the judges, and then give an impromptu speech within 60s. The judge will ring the bell if the participant spell the word incorrectly and the correct word will be given. The participant needs to start the speech after 15s preparation.
*High School Group-Global Vision Challenge
Participants need to answer 3 questions based on the 30-second live video featuring global topics such as Carbon Neutral, Photovoltaic Energy, Gender Equality, Space Exploration, Cybersecurity, etc. The judges will score according to participants’ confidence, logic and comprehensive abilities.

*Preschooler Group -Situational Dialogue
The screen will display relevant scene images, and the reviewer will ask participants questions in full English. Participants will answer questions based on the key information points in the images. Each participant has 3 pictures, and each picture has 2 questions, totaling 6 questions. Each question is completed within 15 seconds, with a score of 1 point.
*Elementary Group A -Spelling Challenge
Participants complete the spelling process based on the word definition prompts displayed on the screen and the audio played (played once). Each participant has 6 words, and each word is read out and completed within 15 seconds. Each word is worth 1 point. When a word is misspelled, the reviewer will ring a bell to prompt.
*Elementary Group B -Spelling and Sentence Making
Participants will take turns spelling words and creating sentences based on the on-site audio of words and definitions (played once), with prompts for the first letter and space of each word. Each participant will have 3 words, and each word and sentence will be answered within 30 seconds. The score for each word and sentence will be 1 point. When a word is misspelled, the evaluation will sound a bell.
*Middle School Group-Spelling and Impromptu Speech
Each participant randomly selects 2 words, guesses the words and completes the spelling based on the audio playback of the word definition on the screen (once audio playback), and finally combines the selected 2 words to give an impromptu speech for no more than 60 seconds. This session is limited to 3 minutes, with 1 point for each word and 4 points for the impromptu speech.
*High School Group-Global Vision Challenge
Each participant is randomly selected for one video (played once). Participants will answer three questions based on the content of the 30 second video broadcasted on the screen. The video will focus on global topics such as climate change, war and peace, ecological imbalance, population explosion, and resource shortage. Participants will be assessed for their logic, language proficiency, and confidence in expression. Each question has a time limit of 40 seconds to complete and is worth 2 points.

Part Ⅲ: Asia-Pacific Top 10 Championship!
The top 10 participants with a total score of no less than 9.1 points for Part I and Part II in each group will be shortlisted for the Top 10. If there are participants with the same score, the judging panel will discuss and select the winners. If there are less than 5 shortlisted participants in each group, the Asia Pacific Top 10 Championship will not be held. Participants will engage in multiple rounds of PK until they are ranked in the top three of each group's total scores (selected as the champion, runner up, and third place), and this stage ends.
